We believe your personal documents and data belong exclusively to you. Here is how we protect your privacy in brief:

100% On-Device Processing Your documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PPT) never leave your device. Zero cloud uploads.

Storage Access Requested strictly to allow you to browse, read, create, annotate, and save files locally.

Transparent Advertising We use Google AdMob for non-intrusive ads with full GDPR & CCPA user consent compliance.

No Personal Data Sales We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information with anyone.

01 Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Documents Reader & PDF Editor (the "Application", "App", or "Service"), developed and operated by Coregrit Studio ("we", "us", "our").

We are deeply committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of our users. This policy explains what information the application accesses, how it is processed, why specific device permissions are required, and what choices and rights you have regarding your data.

By installing and using Documents Reader & PDF Editor, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

02 Local Document Processing (Privacy By Design)

Zero Server Upload Architecture All document viewing, rendering, word processing, spreadsheet calculations, presentation slides, PDF annotations, digital signatures, image conversions, and scanner operations are conducted 100% locally on your device hardware.

Our core application architecture is built from the ground up on privacy-preserving principles:

No Cloud Document Storage: We do not operate remote servers to store, index, read, or analyze your files.
No Content Inspection: We cannot read the contents of your PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, slides, photos, or text files.
Safe Export & Sharing: When you share an exported PDF or document, it is transferred exclusively through your device's native operating system share sheet according to your explicit selection.

03 Permissions & Why We Need Them

To provide all-in-one document reader and office suite functionality, the application requests the following Android permissions:

Camera	android.permission.CAMERA	Document Scanner: Optional. Used only when you open the built-in Document Scanner to capture physical pages and convert them into multi-page PDF documents.
Photo / Media Library	READ_MEDIA_IMAGES	Image to PDF: Optional. Used solely when you choose images from your gallery to assemble into a PDF document.
Internet Access	android.permission.INTERNET	Ad Delivery & Updates: Used exclusively by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve advertisements and check for app updates.

Google Play All Files Access Policy Compliance: The MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission is strictly utilized for the app's primary purpose as a universal Document Management and File Reader suite. The app does not access media or files unrelated to supported document formats.

04 Third-Party Services & Advertising

To keep the application free and accessible to all users, we integrate trusted third-party SDKs for advertising:

Google AdMob (Google LLC)

We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements. AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous identifiers and technical telemetry to serve relevant ads and prevent fraud, including:

Google Advertising ID (GAID / AAID)
Device model, operating system version, and screen metrics
IP address (for coarse geographic location and fraud detection)
Ad impression and interaction statistics

05 Data Protection Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Regardless of your geographic location, we uphold robust data privacy standards:

Under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Right of Access: You have the right to know what personal data is processed.
Right to Erasure / Deletion: You can erase all cached app data instantly by clearing the app's cache/storage in your device Settings or uninstalling the app.
Consent Management: Users in the EEA and UK are presented with consent dialogs to choose personalized vs. non-personalized advertising.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA):

We do not sell personal data.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent.
You can reset or opt-out of personalized ads at any time via your Android Settings: Settings > Google > Ads > Reset or Delete Advertising ID.

06 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our application is not intended for or directed toward children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal identifiable information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided personal information or interacted inappropriately with our service, please contact us immediately at documentsreader@coregritstudio.com so we can take necessary corrective action.

07 Data Security & Retention

We implement stringent technical measures to safeguard user data:

No Server-Side Data Retention: Because we do not upload your documents or store personal accounts, there is no centralized database vulnerable to data breaches.
Device Sandbox: All application caches and temporary rendering buffers reside within Android's secured application sandbox.
Immediate Local Cleanup: Temporary files generated during image conversions or scanning are purged promptly.

08 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update our Privacy Policy to reflect app enhancements, technical updates, or changes in legal regulations. When changes are made:

We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates.
Material changes will be made readily accessible through the in-app Settings menu and our public distribution channels.
